James and Tania’s wedding at Froyle Park, May 2025

Some weddings settle into you quietly. James and Tania's day was one of those - warm, unhurried, and full of the easy joy that comes when two people are genuinely happy to be marrying each other. James is British, Tania from Malibu, and there was something lovely about watching those two worlds blend so naturally over the course of the day. I had Anita alongside me as second photographer, which always makes such a difference - two pairs of eyes, nothing missed. Days like this are a reminder of why I do what I do.

Nestled in the village of Upper Froyle, midway between Farnham and Alton and around an hour from London, Froyle Park is one of Hampshire's most photographically rich wedding venues. The elegant Jacobean manor dates to 1620, built on the site of a former monastery, and sits within 80 acres of rolling Hampshire countryside with four licensed ceremony spaces — the Great Hall, Drawing Room, Grand Ballroom, and the iconic outdoor Dome. As a documentary photographer I find it endlessly generous - beautiful light, textured interiors, sweeping parkland - a natural variety that means no two galleries from here ever look the same. Voted Best Historic Wedding Venue in South Central England 2025, and having photographed here, it's easy to understand why.

What follows is a full documentary gallery of around 100 images, from the ceremony through to the celebrations of the evening. Tania chose not to have preparation shots on the day -something I'm always completely happy to work around - so the gallery opens at the ceremony itself, and everything that followed from there.

If you're considering Froyle Park as your venue and want to see what a full day of documentary wedding photography looks like beyond a handful of Instagram images, I hope this gives you a genuine sense of both the place and my approach.
