I’m Simon, a documentary wedding photographer based in Hampshire but with two or three toes in London, happily covering all of the UK and abroad. I’m also a father of two amazing daughters and hotelier to two needy but awesome cats.
As your photographer, I am passionate about your imagery being natural and authentic. But I’m not precious about genres, so I'll weave relaxed imagery of your day with a contemporary and stylish feel. You should expect me to be unobtrusive but relentless in capturing imagery that tells the story of not just how your day unfolded but how it felt, and the connections between you, your partner and all of your friends and family that you chose to share the day with.
I genuinely love what I do these days; and I’m lucky to have the most wonderful couples, because they seem to quite like what I do too.
I was voted a Winner in the 2022, 2023 and 2024 Hitched Wedding Awards, and sixty weddings down, am enjoying a clean sweep of exclusively five star reviews from all my couples on both Google and Hitched.

The photo opposite is not a conventional wedding image for a photographer’s landing page; it’s not the ‘I do’ moment between the couple, it’s not the ‘first kiss’, though you will find lots of them in my portfolio. But this image represents absolutely everything that is important to me about wedding photography.
In this image, you see the most joyful of brides, Julie, and her beautiful family; but you also see their connection, their energy, their pride and identity. When you see this image, you get a glimpse of who and how they are, and you know exactly how that wedding day went down. And believe me, it was all that and more. For all those reasons, even though it was taken at one of my very first weddings as a professional, it’s one of my favourite images from my time as a wedding photographer.
I’m hoping that you’re here because you’re looking for someone whom you can trust to capture the moments of your wedding day naturally; images which talk of the connections between you and all the other people that will share your day, as they truly are.
You’re looking for someone whom can create imagery for you that is above everything else, authentic.
